Sunday August 9th: Arromanches to Ouistreham and home via Ferry
Our last day was a short and quite easy ride of just 34 km along the North coast of Normandy. It was a pleasant day and much of the ride was on small hills along teh coast. Very pleasant. We had left at 0900 and were in Ouitreham well before midday.
The ferry sailed at 1630, and arrived on time in Portsmouth at 2115 - and we did a quick dash through a dark Portsmouth to catch the train back to Southampton from Portsmouth and Southsea station.
